WWE Star Liv Morgan Targeted by Stalker in Disturbing Case

Liv Morgan has once again found herself at the center of a deeply unsettling situation, not inside the ring, but involving her personal safety. The WWE superstar became the target of a disturbing stalking incident, and new details have emerged that highlight the growing dangers public figures face, especially in the world of professional wrestling.

According to reports obtained by The Independent, the man accused of stalking Morgan has been identified as 41-year-old Shawn Chan from Scarborough, Ontario, Canada. An FBI affidavit revealed that Chan flew to Orlando, Florida, in May with the intent of locating the WWE performer. Upon arrival, he allegedly told U.S. Customs officials that he was staying at the WWE Performance Center, a claim that surprisingly went unverified.

Chan managed to find the address of Morgan’s home. On May 31, he approached the house and attempted to enter. After failing to get through the front door, he found an air rifle that had been left on the porch and proceeded to wait outside the home for nearly two hours, expecting Morgan to return. When she did not show up, he reportedly left behind several handwritten notes with bizarre messages, including claims of being wronged by an online gaming community and stating that his visit was meant to be “friendly.” Disturbingly, he also left his home address and phone number for Morgan.

Days later, Chan appeared at the WWE Performance Center once again, this time triggering immediate recognition by the company’s security team, who had seen security footage from outside Morgan’s residence. That same night, two individuals were arrested at the facility, initially causing confusion. At first, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office reported that Chan had been taken into custody on an unrelated burglary warrant from Pasco County. However, further investigation confirmed his connection to the stalking incident involving Morgan.

Shawn Chan was officially indicted in Florida this past Wednesday and is scheduled to appear in federal court on July 18. If convicted of interstate domestic violence, he could face up to five years in prison.

In a statement included in the FBI report, Liv Morgan revealed that this is not the first time someone has discovered her home address and attempted to contact her. She mentioned that at least two other individuals had previously done the same. The case bears eerie similarities to the 2020 stalking incident involving Sonya Deville and once again highlights the risks faced by celebrities when obsessive fans cross dangerous lines.
