WrestleMania 42 Heads Back to Las Vegas

When WrestleMania 41 wrapped up its epic two-day spectacle at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, few imagined that the Sin City would be hosting the next edition so soon. Now, however, all signs indicate that Las Vegas will once again be the stage for WrestleMania 42, and the official announcement seems just steps away.
Initially, WWE’s plans pointed to New Orleans as the host city for the 2026 edition, with the legendary Superdome confirmed as the venue. But that decision took a turn last month when WWE changed course and announced that next year’s Money in the Bank will take place in NOLA. Since then, rumors about a new host for WrestleMania have gained momentum, and all signs have started pointing to Vegas.
According to Bryan Alvarez, a respected journalist from the Wrestling Observer, WWE is “very close” to making the return to Las Vegas official for the 2026 event. He also revealed that despite initial logistical hurdles, such as pre-scheduled conventions and a major music concert booked for Allegiant Stadium, many of those issues have been resolved over the past week.
Internal sources also highlight that Las Vegas has been highly receptive, offering significant concessions to make the mega event possible in the city once again. And with good reason: WrestleMania 41 broke records, generating the highest revenue in WWE history for a weekend event.
The decision, although unexpected for some, makes sense to many. Vegas offers the perfect combination of infrastructure, global visibility, and a unique energy that matches the grandeur of WrestleMania. And if recent history is any indication, the 42nd edition promises to surpass even the last with bigger shows, more intense rivalries, and the potential to solidify Las Vegas as the new home of the biggest showcase in sports entertainment.
While the official announcement has yet to come, the atmosphere of anticipation is already taking over fans and the industry. WrestleMania 42 is coming, and it looks like Las Vegas will once again be the center of the WWE universe.
