Dominik Mysterio lashes out on social media and accuses WWE star of lying after Night of Champions

Dominik Mysterio didn’t participate in WWE’s Night of Champions event, but that didn’t stop him from getting involved in controversy outside the ring. Even though he was physically absent, Mysterio took to social media to fire harsh criticism at Karrion Kross, who did compete at the show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Kross faced Sami Zayn in a singles match after weeks of trying to manipulate the then-Intercontinental Champion. Despite his efforts, Kross was defeated. After the match, the 39-year-old veteran shared an emotional message on Instagram, claiming he never asked for shoutouts or backstage favors.
That’s when Dominik Mysterio jumped in with a fiery response. Without holding back, he called Kross “a liar and a wh*re,” suggesting that the superstar might have indeed asked for a favor from the reigning Intercontinental Champion.
The exchange quickly caught fans’ attention, raising speculation about backstage tensions within WWE. Did Kross really try to influence his place on the Night of Champions card? Or was Mysterio simply stirring up drama while staying off-screen?
One thing’s for sure: Dominik doesn’t need to be in the ring to make waves.
