Tuesday night’s episode of WWE NXT, broadcast internationally on Netflix from the WWE Performance Center, featured a major championship defense and officially set the stage for a new title match at the upcoming NXT Battleground event.

Oba Femi (c) def. Wes Lee to retain the NXT North American Championship In the main event, Oba Femi retained his title against Wes Lee. The finish came after the faction Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, and Wolfgang) appeared and attacked Wes Lee, allowing Oba Femi to secure the pinfall victory.

TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace def. Stevie Turner Continuing her run in NXT, Jordynne Grace scored a dominant victory over Stevie Turner. After the match, Grace had a tense staredown with NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez, who was watching from the commentary desk.

The O.C. Challenged for the NXT Tag Team Titles NXT Tag Team Champions Axiom and Nathan Frazer came to the ring to address their next move, but were quickly interrupted by The O.C. (Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson). After a verbal exchange, The O.C. officially challenged them to a match for the championships at NXT Battleground. The segment ended with a brawl between the two teams.

Karmen Petrovic & Arianna Grace def. Thea Hail & Fallon Henley In women’s tag team action, the duo of Petrovic and Grace picked up the win. The deciding moment occurred when a miscommunication involving members of Chase U at ringside distracted Thea Hail, allowing Arianna Grace to get the pin.
